Killingly, CT – Two adult teenagers were apprehended with the help of Police K9s after crashing a stolen car Saturday afternoon. A third teen got away but reportedly has an arrest warrant pending.
According to the Connecticut State Police, at approximately 3:30 PM on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, Troopers assigned to Troop D were dispatched to a reported vehicle accident at the I-395 North Exit 37 (Route 6) Clover Leaf. The 911 caller reported three individuals ran from the scene on foot, with one wearing white pants and a ski mask.
Troopers arrived to find the vehicle had crashed into a metal beam guard rail, and struck a sign, before going airborne, stopping approximately 20′ down an embankment. It was quickly determined the vehicle had a stolen status out of Worcester, MA in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.
K9s were deployed by Troop D and Killingly Police to track the suspects. Two individuals matching the description were located in the area of Dyer St. One individual was apprehended with the use of a Tazer and the other with the assistance of a K9. Troopers indicated they were unable to locate the third suspect but he was identified through the investigation and an arrest warrant is pending.

An 18-year-old man, residing on North St in Killingly, was arrested and held at Corrigan Correctional Facility on a $20,000 cash bond for the following charges:
- Evading Responsibility – Injury/Property Damage (C.G.S 14-224(b)(3))
- Larceny of a Motor Vehicle – 1st Offense (C.G.S. 14-224(b)(3))
- Interfering with an Officer/Resisting Arrest (C.G.S 53a-167a)
An 18-year-old man, residing on Fairfax Rd in Worcester MA, was arrested and released on a $20,000 bond for the following charges:
- Evading Responsibility – Injury/Property Damage (C.G.S 14-224(b)(3))
- Larceny of a Motor Vehicle – 1st Offense (C.G.S. 14-224(b)(3))
- Interfering with an Officer/Resisting Arrest (C.G.S 53a-167a)
