Killingly, CT – A bomb threat was made against Colt’s Packaging Wednesday morning. The building has since been deemed safe.

According to the Connecticut State Police, at approximately 10:16 AM on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024, Killingly Police and Troop D troopers were dispatched to Colt’s Plastics, 969 North Main St, for a reported bomb threat made to the business.

The building was immediately evacuated and K9s were brought in to clear the building. The building was deemed safe at approximately 12:05 PM with no explosives being found.

The incident remains under investigation by the Connecticut State Police and there is no threat to the public at this time.
