On Tuesday, June 18th, 2024 members of the East Putnam Fire Department, Putnam Fire Department, Putnam EMS, Thompson Fire Engine Company, and the East Thompson Volunteer Fire Department attended a training hosted by UMass Memorial LifeFlight. The course covered a variety of material including Landing Zone (LZ) operations/requirements, criteria for requesting LifeFlight, medical care available onboard the helicopter, and a tour of LifeFlight 1.
