Killingly, CT/Foster, RI – A second suspect in the December 28th armed robbery which occurred in Foster, RI was apprehended at Killingly’s Budget Inn early Thursday morning.
A large police force consisting of the Connecticut State Police (CSP), Rhode Island State Police, and Connecticut and Rhode Island U.S. Marshal Violent Fugitive Task Forces converged on the Budget Inn, 771 Hartford Pike, to serve a warrant for a man there.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, the 34-year-old man had been identified as a suspect by the Foster Police Department (RI) in an armed robbery that occurred in the 180 block of Hartford Turnpike on December 28th, 2023. An extraditable warrant was subsequently issued for the man’s arrest.
Following his apprehension, the man was transported to the CSP Troop D Barracks where he is being held pending his extradition to Rhode Island.

On December 30th, 2023, another suspect was located at the Mobil Gas Station before attempting to flee from police.
