Canterbury, CT — The State Police are investigating multiple vehicle thefts from Canterbury residents early Monday morning.
According to the Connecticut State Police, [at approximately 2:30 AM on Monday, June 9th, 2025,] Troopers assigned to Troop D responded to a Graff Rd residence for reports of a vehicle stolen from a driveway. The vehicle was later located [in town] and returned to its owner.
Similarly, the State Police were able to confirm that Troop D personnel responded to a Barstow Rd residence for reports of a vehicle stolen [from the driveway in the early morning hours]. They did not indicate if the vehicle had been found.
Unofficial information indicates there were several other vehicles stolen throughout Canterbury in the hours surrounding 2:30 AM on Monday. The Connecticut State Police were unable to immediately confirm any other thefts but did indicate the investigation into the two confirmed thefts is ongoing.
