Dayville, CT – On Thursday, September 26th, 2024, following a month of training surrounding rescue tactics several area departments gathered for a capstone MCI drill. Responders arrived “on scene” at the Dennis R. Lemery Training Center to find volunteers playing victims in several states of injury, ranging from deceased to uninjured but entrapped. Responders were required to utilize various skills including crowd control, fire suppression, and advanced stabilization techniques.

Agencies that participated in the drill included the Dayville Fire Company, Attawaugan Fire Department, Muddy Brook Fire Department, Pomfret Fire Department, and Jewett City Fire Department.
