Putnam, CT – Officers responded to the second stabbing within Putnam’s special service district in 2 weeks on Sunday Morning.

According to the Putnam Police Department, at approximately 8:23 a.m. on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, officers were dispatched to a reported stabbing in the area of Florence St and Farrows St.

A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the leg and was transported by Putnam EMS to Day Kimball Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Putnam Police went on to say, that the suspect and victim appear to have known each other and it is likely an isolated incident.
