Killingly, Conn. – At approximately 12 pm Sunday, October 23rd, the Dayville Fire Company was dispatched to the area of 173 Putnam Pike for a report of a motor vehicle accident. The Connecticut State Police were the first on the scene and reported a single-vehicle accident with one patient on the ground apparently ejected from their vehicle. A Lifestar medical helicopter was requested but was unavailable due to the weather. The patient was transported by ground at the Advanced Life Support (ALS) level to Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam.

The condition of the victim is not known at this time.

Responding agencies included the Dayville Fire Company, KB Ambulance, KB Ambulance’s QV Medic, and the Connecticut State Police.
