Killingly/Thompson, CT – A Thompson man with multiple prior felonies was arrested after allegedly exposing himself to a female employee at a Danielson dance studio Monday evening.
At approximately 8:10 PM on Monday, December 2nd, 2024, Killingly Police Officers and Troopers assigned to Troop D were dispatched to 100 Main St, Danielson, The Complex – Performing and Creative Arts Centre, for reports of two men who exposed themselves to a female employee.
According to the Connecticut State Police, while Officers/Troopers were en route, dispatchers provided an update from the caller indicating the men had fled East on Main St towards Furnace St. The caller described one man as a black male wearing jeans with rhinestones and pink/red underwear. As Officers arrived in the area a black male matching the description was located running on Main St towards Furnace St. The man was quickly apprehended and witnesses on the scene confirmed the man was the one who had exposed himself, he was later identified as 24-year-old Elijahrae Blockson-Brown of Thompson.
A K9 was deployed to track the other man, through the K9 track and subsequent investigation the other man was located and it was determined that Blockson-Brown was the only one who had exposed themselves.
Elijahrae Blockson-Brown was taken into custody and is being held at Corrigan Correctional Center on a $50,000 cash/surety bond. He is charged with the following crimes:
- Risk of Injury to a Child (CGS 53-21)
- Public Indecency (CGS 53a-186)
- Interference With an Officer/Resisting Arrest (CGS 53a-167a)
- Breach of Peach 2nd Degree (CGS 53a-181)
Blockson-Brown has previously been convicted of the following crimes:
- Criminal Mischief 2nd Deg (CGS 53a-116)
- Risk Of Injury To Child (Felony) (CGS 53-21)
- Assault 3rd Degree (CGS 53a-61)
- Burglary 3rd Degree (Felony) (CGS 53a-103)
- Crim Vio Of Restraining Order (Felony) (CGS 53a-223b(d)(1))
- Criminal Trespass 1st Degree (CGS 53a-107)
- Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree (CGS 53a-117)
- 2x Failure To Appear 2nd Degree (CGS 53a-173)
- Violation Of Probation (CGS 53a-32)
