At approximately 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, the Mortlake Fire Company, East Brooklyn Fire Department, and Atwood Hose Fire Company were dispatched to the Allen Hill Farm (502 Allen Hill Rd) for a reported brush fire. On arrival, crews found a 300×200′ brush fire spreading into the tree line. Crews quickly stopped the spread and cleared the scene within approximately 1 hour. Based on GIS mapping, the area burnt was approximately .5 acres.
