Sprague, CT – The Sprague Resident Trooper is seeking any information from the public regarding two recent attempts to rob the ATM at the Chelsea Groton Bank, 156 Willimantic Rd.

At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023 a subject forced their way into the bank via the roof. They then attempted to gain access to an ATM but were unsuccessful.

Two days earlier a similar incident occurred where a white male subject, dressed in all black with a full face covering and operating the vehicle above, attempted to forcibly gain access to the vestibule ATM.

The Resident Trooper is asking anyone in the area who may have seen anything suspicious please contact TFC Brian Sumner #743 @ 860-822-3000×207.
