Killingly | CT | I-395 NB @ Exit 37 (Route 6) | VEHICLE ACCIDENT | CSP o/s with a Tractor Trailer accident. FD/EMS enroute. Requesting DOT for guardrail repair and the crash truck for blocking

Crews are on the scene of a car vs tractor trailer motor vehicle accident just past the Route 6 Exit on I-395 NB. The truck was carrying ash waste and will require a heavy duty wrecker to remove it from the scene. The Connecticut State Police also reported, over scanner traffic, that approximately 120 ft of metal guardrail was destroyed and will need immediate attention from the CT DOT. The CT DOT crash truck has also been requested to the scene due to the hazardous location of the crash.

Numerous patients are being evaluated by EMS for minor injuries at the time of this alert.
