Woodstock/Eastford, CT — A 19-year-old Woodstock man was arrested early Sunday morning in connection with Saturday’s shooting in Eastford.
According to the Connecticut State Police, at approximately 8:50 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, Troopers were dispatched to County Road, Eastford, for reports of a male who had been shot and robbed.
It was quickly determined that after the shooting, the victim had traveled in a vehicle to the Eastford Fire Department, where emergency crews met him and rendered life-saving aid. A tourniquet was applied on the scene to stabilize a gunshot wound to the upper thigh before he was transported to Day Kimball Hospital and airlifted to the Trauma Center at UMass Memorial.
Troopers’ initial investigation revealed the victim had arranged to meet an individual known to him as “Adoty” through Snapchat for a “transaction”. “Adoty” entered the victim’s vehicle, pulled a handgun, and shot the victim in the upper thigh before fleeing with another male in a silver Volvo sedan.

The investigation revealed 19-year-old King Michael Adoty, of Woodstock, CT, as the likely suspect.
