Skimming device located at the Brooklyn Walmart - Connecticut State Police Troop D

Brooklyn, CT – The Connecticut State Police are asking for public assistance identifying individuals suspected of being associated with skimming devices located across Eastern Connecticut.

According to the Connecticut State Police, on August 21st,2024, a credit card skimmer was found on a self-checkout register in the Brooklyn Walmart, 450 Providence Rd. After reviewing surveillance video, and collaborating with neighboring State Police Barracks and local police departments, it is believed the suspects are associated with additional skimmer emplacements in Lisbon and East Windsor.

Any information regarding the individuals or devices pictured above should be directed to Trooper Antra at Mohomad.Antra@ct.gov or Troop D at 860-779-4900.

Before using any credit card Point of Sale (POS) you should inspect it for cracks, scratches, misaligned pieces, or any sign the device may have been tampered with.
