Glocester, RI – A 46-year-old and a 55-year-old, both from Putnam, CT, were charged with multiple drug charges following the execution of a search warrant at the West Glocester Motor Inn on Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 14th, 2023, Glocester Police Officers, along with Smithfield Officers, executed a court-authorized search warrant at the West Glocester Motor Inn, 2392 Putnam Pike, Glocester. The warrant and subsequent arrests stemmed from a week-long investigation into the illegal sales of crack cocaine from the warrant address.

According to the Glocester Police Department, “Police seized over 230 grams of crack and powdered cocaine, $4,300.00 in cash, and other evidence of the sale and manufacture of “crack” cocaine.”

Both parties were charged with; Possession and manufacture of Cocaine with intent to Deliver, Possession of Cocaine one ounce to one kilogram, Conspiracy to Possess Cocaine with Intent to Deliver. They were arraigned in the Third District Court on December 15th, 2023, and will be held without bail until their hearing date which is currently set for December 21st, 2023.
