The cab of a Stop & Shop tractor trailer caught on fire on the shoulder of I-695 (I-696/I-395) just past the Squaw Rock Rd exit.
The fire was knocked down in approximately 15 minutes from the time of the call but cause the Eastbound lanes to be closed for approximately 30 minutes. The highway has since reopened.
There were no injuries.
