Killingly, CT — State troopers are investigating an early morning burglary at a local smoke shop/convenience store.

At approximately 2:30 AM on Saturday, December 13, 2025, the Connecticut State Police received a report that the windows of Dayville Farm and Tobacco, 729 Hartford Pike, had been smashed sometime during the night. Troopers responded and cleared the building, reportedly finding signs that items had been stolen.

A short time later, a trooper patrolling the Putnam area located several empty boxes of nicotine vapes discarded in a parking lot, believed to have been stolen from the smoke shop.

Unconfirmed information indicates a gray Hyundai Tucson rammed through the storefront, allowing five masked individuals to enter the store and make off with stolen goods. It is unclear if any money was stolen.

The State Police were able to confirm that a burglary occurred at the location, but were unable to confirm any details as the investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Troop D at 860-779-4900.
